Aditi Sanwal meets TV icons Smriti and Sakshi

Actress Aditi Sanwal expressed excitement after working with television veterans Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar in a special crossover episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The episode featured Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar reprising their roles as Parvati and Om from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, marking a reunion of two popular early 2000s Indian family dramas. Sanwal, who plays Mitali in the series, shared photos from the shoot on social media, noting she became emotional watching the veteran performers despite her character requiring a neutral reaction.

The crossover celebrated 25 years of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki this October. Both Irani and Tanwar became prominent figures in Indian television through their roles as bahus in their respective series. The pair later appeared together on Koffee with Karan, becoming the first television actors featured on the film industry talk show.
