Akhilesh Yadav urges Bihar to vote BJP out over joblessness and inflation

Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav criticized the BJP on Wednesday, urging the people of Bihar to vote them out in the upcoming November Assembly elections. He claimed that while the SP had defeated the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, it was now Bihar’s turn to defeat them in Magadh.

Yadav accused the BJP of worsening unemployment and inflation in Bihar and called on voters to support candidates who champion social justice and equality. He also mocked the Uttar Pradesh government’s failure to maintain law and order, citing atrocities against Dalits, backward classes, and minorities.

Yadav further ridiculed the BJP’s focus on ‘cow tourism’, advising them to first protect people from wolves. He also criticized their governance, highlighting issues such as a lack of fertiliser, stagnant sugarcane prices, and looted farmers’ lands. Lastly, he mocked the BJP’s ‘swadeshi’ narrative, pointing out the irony of importing goods while promoting local products.
