Allu Arjun hails Kantara Chapter 1

Telugu actor Allu Arjun praised the pan-Indian blockbuster Kantara: Chapter 1 on Friday after viewing the film. He described the movie as mind-blowing and said he felt transfixed while watching. Arjun commended director Rishab Shetty for his work as writer, director and lead performer.

The actor highlighted strong performances from cast members Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram and Gulshan Devaiah. He praised the technical team for their contributions to music, cinematography, art direction and action sequences. Arjun congratulated producer Vijay Kiragandur and Hombale Films for their achievement.

Shetty thanked Arjun for his support and kind words. The prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara opened worldwide on Oct. 2 in six languages. The film is set during the Kadamba rule of Banavasi and began production in November 2023.
