On Wednesday, Arjun Kapoor wished Malaika Arora a happy 52nd birthday through an Instagram story. He posted a photo of her in Paris with the Eiffel Tower behind her and wrote a short message celebrating her spirit. The two dated for nearly six years and remain on good terms. Arjun confirmed their split last year while promoting the film Singham Again.

Arjun recently starred in the romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. His character, Ankur, faces romantic confusion when both his college crush and his amnesiac ex-wife reappear. Malaika featured in the song “Poison Baby” from the horror-comedy Thamma, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. She described the track as energetic and called the choreography bold and expressive. The song, with vocals by Jasmine Sandlas and music by Sachin-Jigar, marks her return to a major dance number after several years.
