Bangladesh to modernize mosque management with new policy

On Wednesday, AFM Khalid Hossain, the Religious Affairs Adviser, said the mosque management policy is being updated for better and more organized administration. The new policy will be published this month.

He spoke at a workshop on the “Mosque Management Policy 2025,” organized by the Islamic Foundation. The Adviser explained that the final policy would be shaped by feedback from Islamic scholars. A draft has already been prepared, and it will focus on the best interests of imams and muezzins.

The workshop included input from over fifty Islamic scholars, who offered suggestions to make the policy effective and relevant.
