Bashundhara Shuvosangho supports 80-year-old woman selling vegetables in Manikganj

The Manikganj Sadar upazila unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho has supported 80-year-old Chanmati, a woman from Mehendi Bagh village, who has been earning her living by selling vegetables after losing her husband. Despite her frailty, Chanmati continues to push her cart through the town, selling vegetables to make an honest living.

Upon learning of her struggles, Shuvosangho provided her with business capital, including vegetables like potatoes, onions, ginger, and garlic, along with clothes and essential medicines. Locals praised Chanmati for her dignity and hard work, while expressing hope that the support would improve her life.

The initiative was led by Unit President Touhidul Islam Ujjal, with contributions from General Secretary Md Rakib Al Hasan Nahin, Vice President Mubinul Haider Shuvro, and other members of the organization.
