BNB unveils gold coin for St. Evtimii

The Bulgarian National Bank announced it will issue a commemorative gold coin featuring St. Patriarch Evtimii of Tarnovo, part of its Bulgarian Iconographers series. The coin’s release price is set at 2,590 leva.

It will be available for purchase directly from BNB cash desks in Sofia, with a strict limit of one coin per customer. This restriction applies whether buying as an individual or as a representative for another person or legal entity, the latter requiring a notarized power of attorney. The bank also prohibits sales to individuals under 18 years of age.

Following its release, the BNB will distribute the coin to select commercial banks for further public sale through their branches.
