Borisov fears Zhelyazkov rise, faces looming crisis, Tonchev warns
Boyko Borisov has two problems, according to sociologist Vasil Tonchev. First, Rosen Zhelyazkov is becoming more popular, and there is no space for two leaders in GERB. Second, Borisov knows that his collaboration with Novo nachod is hurting GERB.
Tonchev said Borisov has no solution for the second problem. He suggested that early elections might happen next year, as the ruling party must vote on a budget. Tonchev believes President Radev is ready to resign and join the elections.
Tonchev also stated that attacks on Gutsanov and Kiselova are aimed at small coalition partners. He predicts changes in the Ministry of Interior, but the tension will remain.
