Brazil’s Vice President Geraldo Alckmin visits New Delhi to boost trade
Brazil’s Vice President Geraldo Alckmin arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for a three-day official visit. He will hold the inaugural Trade Ministerial Review Meeting with India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. Alckmin is also scheduled to meet key Indian leaders, including Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, to discuss various topics.
The visit aims to strengthen the India-Brazil strategic partnership, with a focus on increasing bilateral trade to USD 20 billion within five years. Discussions will include trade expansion, market access, and sectoral collaborations in areas like healthcare, chemicals, and MSMEs.
