Croatia wins six awards at British World Travel Market

At the 24th Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards in London, Croatia was recognized six times for its tourism offerings. The country was named the second most desirable European destination, with its islands ranking fourth. Dubrovnik stood out, winning second place for the most desirable European city and a special award for sustainable tourism efforts. Dubrovnik-Neretva and Istria counties also received recognition, securing spots in the top ten most desirable European regions.

The awards, based on votes from over four million readers of Wanderlust magazine, highlight Croatia’s strong reputation among British travelers. Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, expressed pride in the recognition, noting the country’s commitment to sustainability, authenticity, and quality tourism experiences.’
