Education Ministry vows no compromise on school sexual misconduct

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek made it clear today that the Ministry will not tolerate any form of sexual misconduct in schools, following a shocking gang-rape case in Melaka. She ordered all relevant authorities to fully cooperate with the police investigation, including the school, district education office, and state education department.

Fadhlina stressed that the ministry takes such matters seriously and promised no protection for the offenders. Severe action will be taken against those involved.

The case, where four Form Five students allegedly assaulted a younger student in a classroom, has sparked outrage. Melaka police confirmed the suspects’ arrest, and public pressure for stricter school discipline is growing.
