Evercare Hospital offers free breast health checkups this month

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Evercare Hospital Dhaka is offering a free breast health checkup program from October 15 to October 31, 2025. The program will run Saturday to Thursday, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Women can visit the hospital’s Breast Clinic and Master Health Check Unit for a comprehensive health assessment, which includes a physical examination, expert consultation, risk evaluation, and guidance on follow-up care.

Dr. Ferdous Shahriar Sayed emphasized the importance of early detection, while Dr. Biswajit Bhattacharjee encouraged women to prioritize their health. Dr. Arif Mahmud added that early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer. Experts highlighted that over 12,000 women in Bangladesh are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, most at advanced stages, making awareness and early detection crucial.
