FASTag Annual Pass hits 25 lakh users, records 5.67 crore transactions

The FASTag Annual Pass, launched by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on August 15, has reached 25 lakh users and recorded 5.67 crore transactions in just two months. The pass is valid at about 1,150 toll plazas on National Highways and National Expressways, making highway travel easier and more economical.

For Rs 3,000, non-commercial vehicle owners can buy the annual pass, which covers one year or 200 toll crossings. The pass eliminates the need for frequent recharges and is activated within two hours. It can only be used on National Highways and National Expressways, while users still pay tolls on State Highways with their FASTag wallet.
