Gangata urges support for Silver Strikers ahead of CAF Champions League match

Newly appointed Minister of State, Alfred Gangata, has urged Malawians to support Silver Strikers as they play Young Africans (Yanga) Sporting Club of Tanzania in the CAF Champions League on Saturday at Bingu National Stadium.

Gangata believes a victory for Silver Strikers would be a win for football development and national pride. He also emphasized that a full stadium would promote sports tourism, helping the economy by creating business opportunities and bringing foreign exchange.

He noted that Yanga FC will bring over eight buses of supporters, showing the power of football to boost local businesses. Gangata encouraged everyone to support Silver Strikers and help lift the Malawi flag.
