India accuses Pakistan of blaming neighbors for failures
India said on Thursday that it is watching the situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border closely. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, pointed out that Pakistan often blames its neighbors for its own problems. He also said that Pakistan hosts and supports terrorist groups.
Jaiswal mentioned that Pakistan is upset about Afghanistan’s control over its own land and has always blamed others for its internal issues. Tensions have risen between Afghanistan and Pakistan recently, with clashes and airstrikes. Both countries have agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire to try to solve their problems through talks.
The fighting in Spin Boldak district, where Afghan civilians were killed and injured by Pakistani forces, led to retaliatory action by Afghanistan’s forces.
