India, Brazil strengthen ties with Goyal’s bold GDP forecast
Piyush Goyal spoke on Thursday about India’s strong economy and its growing partnership with Brazil. He said India will keep growing its economy for the next 20 years. At the India-Brazil Business Dialogue, he thanked Brazil’s leaders for their visit and support. He also shared a quote from Prime Minister Modi, calling for India-Brazil ties to be as lively as a carnival and as passionate as football.
Goyal praised Brazil for adding yoga and Ayurveda to its healthcare. He also shared that India’s GDP grew by 7.8% in the first quarter. India’s foreign reserves of $700 billion make it one of the top economies. Goyal believes India’s economy will keep growing fast for the next two decades.
