India sends Prussian Blue capsules to Indonesia

India acted quickly on Wednesday to help Indonesia manage Cesium-137 contamination by delivering Prussian Blue (Radiogardase) capsules. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) coordinated the urgent delivery after Indonesia’s Ministry of Health requested support. Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, Sandeep Chakravorty, handed over the medicine to Indonesian officials.

Additionally, an Indian delegation, led by Raghu Arackal from the Ministry of Ayush, visited Jakarta for the 16th Annual Meeting of WHO–IRCH. They met with the Indonesian FDA to discuss strengthening cooperation in traditional medicine and quality assurance. India’s participation emphasizes its commitment to global cooperation in herbal medicine regulation and safety.
