Jatiyo Party leaders meet German ambassador to discuss elections and trade

Jatiyo Party Chairman and former foreign minister Anisul Islam Mahmud met German Ambassador to Dhaka Rudiger Lotz at the German embassy on Wednesday morning. He was accompanied by party officials, including Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader and Executive Chairman Mujibul Haque Chunnu. The German ambassador was joined by Deputy Head of Mission Anja Kirsten and political officer Sharnila Kabir.

The meeting focused on the current political situation in Bangladesh, especially the upcoming national elections. The Jatiyo Party leaders emphasized the need for free, fair, and widely accepted elections. Anisul Islam Mahmud also discussed his past efforts to strengthen ties between Bangladesh and Germany.
