JD(U) releases second list of 44 candidates for 2025 Bihar polls
The Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) released its second list of candidates for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, featuring 44 names. The list includes a mix of experienced leaders, sitting MLAs, and younger candidates from various backgrounds. JD(U) emphasized its goal of ensuring inclusive development under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
Notable names include Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Leshi Singh, and Mahabali Singh, among others. The list also includes four Muslim candidates, signaling the party’s effort to retain minority support. The JD(U) has now declared 101 candidates, with a focus on both rural and urban voters as it prepares for elections in November.
