Litton Das wants players tested ahead of T20 World Cup

Bangladesh T20 captain Litton Das wants his squad tested under match pressure ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup next year. The skipper told reporters on Sunday at Chattogram’s Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium that six upcoming matches against West Indies and Ireland offer valuable preparation time.

Das said he hopes to see players overcome difficult situations in batting and bowling as part of their tournament readiness. Bangladesh opens a three-match series against West Indies on Monday in Chattogram before hosting Ireland for three more T20 matches in November.

The team may also participate in a tri-nation tournament with Sri Lanka and Pakistan set for early December in Sri Lanka. Das emphasized that recovering from setbacks within matches will benefit the squad’s World Cup campaign.
