Mansukh Mandaviya leads ‘Sundays on Cycle’ to promote fitness and healthy living

Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya led the latest ‘Sundays on Cycle (SOC)’ event in New Delhi, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting fitness. This week’s focus was on doctors and health professionals, highlighting the importance of preventive health and physical activity in combating lifestyle diseases like obesity.

Mandaviya praised the efforts of doctors, reflecting on their dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic and urging them to guide the public toward healthier lifestyles. He emphasized that cycling, a simple exercise, plays a key role in achieving Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a healthier nation. The event, which has become a major fitness movement, was joined by WPAC medalists who inspired attendees to embrace active living.

The initiative has grown significantly, reaching over 10,000 locations across India, with activities like cycling, Zumba, Rope Skipping, and Yogasana catering to all age groups. This event encourages citizens to make fitness a regular part of their lives, reinforcing the idea that a healthy body and mind are crucial for a strong nation.
