Min Aung Hlaing attends cultural arts awards
A ceremony and dinner marking the 26th Traditional Myanmar Cultural Performing Arts Competitions took place at Icy Mount Hall, Zeyathiri Beikman, Nay Pyi Taw. Acting President and SSPC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the event.
In his speech, he emphasized national unity, development, and cultural preservation, highlighting the importance of fine arts in strengthening the country’s identity. He acknowledged the efforts of generations of artists in maintaining Myanmar’s cultural legacy.
Certificates of honor were presented to judges and representatives from regions and states. A duet performance featured award-winning youth dancers and veteran artists.
The Acting President hosted a dinner and presented honoraria to senior cultural figures. High-level officials, ministers, and military leaders also attended the event.
