Mnangagwa calls for unity, discipline at Zanu PF conference

President Mnangagwa is calling for a reset at the 22nd Zanu PF Annual National People’s Conference, urging party members to fully embrace the party’s mission as a movement dedicated to serving Zimbabweans’ needs for shared prosperity. Speaking at the Politburo session, he emphasized the importance of understanding Zanu PF’s purpose and ensuring that all programs under the party’s leadership align with the people’s interests.

He stressed that the conference is an opportunity to strengthen unity, with robust debates expected to shape impactful resolutions. Mnangagwa warned against those undermining the party, firmly rejecting negative portrayals of Zanu PF and the country. With the conference’s theme focused on economic empowerment and Vision 2030, the President urged all party members to uphold discipline and unity as the conference kicks off in Mutare.
