Mohammad Rubel rises as Bangladesh’s mystery spinner

Mystery spinners are rare in modern T20 cricket, and Bangladesh has struggled to find one who can make a real impact. Mohammad Rubel, a 29-year-old spinner from Chattogram, is now gaining attention. He stood out in the National Cricket League T20 tournament with his variety and control, finishing with 10 wickets in eight games.

Rubel’s breakthrough came when he took 15 wickets for Asian Chattogram in the Chattogram Regional T20 Tournament. This earned him a spot in the NCL squad. He had worked hard to change his style, learning new skills like the carrom ball and leg-spin.

Rubel’s rise shows how hard work and change can lead to success in cricket. He hopes to keep improving and dreams of playing in the BPL.
