Director Mohit Suri, the mastermind behind the hit track ‘Saiyaara,’ opened up about his biggest inspiration of the past year. Over the weekend, he shared a behind-the-scenes snap from the set of ‘Srikanth,’ featuring actor Rajkummar Rao and director Tushar Hiranandani, looking lost in thought. Mohit proudly congratulated Rao for bagging the Critics’ Best Actor award at the Filmfare Awards, calling the movie his biggest inspiration of the year.

Rajkummar’s win was well-deserved, Mohit gushed, as he posted another shout-out, teasing Tushar for his “secret formula.” Meanwhile, the film ‘Srikanth,’ which tells the remarkable story of blind industrialist Srikanth Bolla, highlights overcoming prejudice and adversity.

In a bizarre turn, the 70th Filmfare Awards ceremony kicked off with a tribute drone show, only for one malfunctioning drone to injure an audience member, sparking a brief moment of panic before the show continued without a hitch.
