Mon State ensures steady fuel supply at Puma Power Port

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein inspected operations at the Puma Power International Port Terminal in Katonepaw Village on Friday morning, where two companies store and distribute petroleum products under state government oversight. Terminal managers briefed officials about monthly fuel distribution to retail stations across Mon State, while state ministers stressed the importance of maintaining adequate supplies.

U Aung Kyi Thein directed authorities to guarantee continuous delivery to all townships, ensure public access to sufficient fuel at regulated prices, and stop unlawful petroleum sales. The chief minister observed 8,000 tons of fuel being offloaded from the LYNX SATU tanker into storage tanks and watched distribution to bowsers for retail delivery.

State officials will maintain supervision of fuel supply chains throughout Mon State to prevent shortages and illegal transactions.
