Multan Sultans owner rips up PCB notice

Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen destroyed a Pakistan Cricket Board legal document on Thursday after the board suspended his franchise from the Pakistan Super League. The board threatened to terminate the contract and claimed the team violated league rules. Tareen said officials demanded that he retract his criticism and apologize, or face blacklisting from the competition.

The businessman released a video rejecting what he called intimidation attempts. He accused board members of refusing to engage in constructive dialogue with franchise operators and of blocking any form of criticism. Tareen said no officials contacted him to resolve disputes through discussion.

He pledged to continue addressing problems affecting the league despite the warnings. The owner mocked the situation by sarcastically apologizing for requesting professional standards. Board representatives have not responded publicly to his statements about their management approach.
