Myanmar delegation visits China for education talks
Myanmar’s Deputy Education Minister Zaw Myint led a 12-member team to China for education talks that ended on Wednesday. The group traveled to Mangshi, Yunnan Province, to attend the Sixth High-Level China-Myanmar Scholars’ Dialogue and to sign 10 cooperation agreements with Chinese officials.
The delegation met Communist Party Secretary Wang Yunfei on Monday and attended cultural programs that evening. They visited Dehong Vocational College on Tuesday to review medical, business and automotive programs before touring a primary school where students practiced sports and attended classes.
Officials inspected Dehong Normal University and observed sessions in culture, biological sciences and artificial intelligence technology. The Myanmar team returned home by air on Tuesday evening after completing the educational exchange program.
