Myanmar film veterans honored in Yangon event

The 105th Myanmar Motion Pictures Day and the 48th Respect-Paying Ceremony for film industry elders were held at the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization office in Bahan Township, Yangon.

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, regional officials, and MMPO leaders inaugurated the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and toured shops in the compound.

At the ceremony, K10 million from Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife was presented to MMPO patron U Aung Lwin. Additional donations came from the region government, Ministry of Information, Forever Group, USDP, and Mingalar Cinema Shin Family.

Officials paid tribute to industry elders, marking the conclusion of the event.
