Naomi Watts admits to imposter syndrome after Hollywood Walk of Fame honor
Naomi Watts recently shared her experience with imposter syndrome as she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 57-year-old actress admitted that the recognition came as a surprise, saying, “It’s really lovely” and reflecting on her feelings of constantly needing to prove herself.
During the ceremony, Naomi thanked her husband, Billy Crudup, for his “phenomenal love and support,” as well as her children—son Sasha, 18, daughter Kai, 16, and stepson Will. She expressed pride in her children, especially Sasha, who attended the ceremony straight from his USC classes, and praised Kai as “fierce and fearless.”
Naomi also spoke about her relationship with Billy, who married her in 2023, emphasizing their mutual support in managing their careers. The couple has found it “much easier” to attend Hollywood events together, they shared.
