NSU highlights youth mental health on World Mental Health Day

North South University (NSU) marked World Mental Health Day 2025 with a poster presentation and panel discussion on youth mental health, hosted by the Department of Public Health and the Counseling & Wellbeing Center, alongside the NSU Public Health and Science Club.

The panel, “Youth Mental Health: Challenges & Chances,” at NSU Audi 801, explored mental health struggles among students and ways to improve support. Experts in mental health and public health, including Dr. Ishakul Kabir from WHO, shared insights.

The event also featured a poster exhibition on mental health services in emergencies. The top posters were awarded, with the first prize going to “Critical Moments, Critical Care” by Tahsen and Mhanaz, addressing student accommodation issues.
