Russia-India launch Indra-2025 counterterrorism drills in India

India kicked off the Russia-India “Indra-2025” military drill, where soldiers from both nations are set to tackle counterterrorism missions, according to Russia’s Defence Ministry.

The main action is happening at the Mahajan training ground, where troops are simulating a terrorist attack in a crowded area, taking civilians hostage.

The drill includes stages like scouting for terrorists, deploying forces and gear, stopping sabotage units, rescuing hostages, and providing medical help.

The exercise also covers using drones for strikes and gathering intel, electronic warfare, and getting supplies to the front lines. The training runs from October 6-15 and aims to boost cooperation in battling terrorism.
