Prashant Kishor won’t contest Bihar polls
Prashant Kishor, the election strategist-turned-politician, has finally squashed rumors about his candidacy for the 2025 Bihar Assembly polls. He made it clear he won’t be contesting but will focus on strengthening his party, Jan Suraj, through solid strategy and groundwork.
Kishor set an ambitious goal: Jan Suraj must win at least 150 seats, or he’ll consider it a personal defeat. He’s not aiming for power, but for a new political direction in Bihar, promising a historic shift. He also vowed that his government would crack down on corruption, starting with the 100 most corrupt leaders and officials.
In a fiery speech, Kishor slammed Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family, accusing them of years of corruption. His campaign, he insists, is about creating honest, developmental governance for Bihar.
