Rasha Thadani celebrates Raveena Tandon’s birthday with love

Rasha Thadani marked her mother Raveena Tandon’s birthday with photographs from the actress’s film career and magazine sessions. The daughter wrote on social media that Tandon remains a timeless icon who pioneered trends through beauty and strength. One image captured Tandon holding young Rasha in an embrace from years past.

Thadani honored three family figures at the Zee Cine Awards ceremony in July by performing songs connected to her heritage. She wore a yellow garment for Tip Tip Barsa Paani as a tribute to her mother’s screen legacy. The performer also sang “Hungama Ho Gaya” from grandfather Ravi Tandon’s first film, Anhonee, which featured actress Bindu in cinema’s earliest disco sequence.

The tribute recognized three generations of entertainment work, spanning from Madhuri Dixit through her grandfather to Tandon. Thadani said the performance allowed her to express admiration for family members who shaped her identity. The songs carry personal meaning beyond their status as memorable moments in Indian cinema.
