Rishab Shetty denies production issues on Kantara: Chapter 1
Actor-director Rishab Shetty, celebrating the success of his film Kantara: Chapter 1, denied claims of production issues, attributing them to narratives spread by others. Speaking with IANS in Mumbai, Shetty explained that delays were due to the team’s isolated location in the forest, with no media interaction and limited network access. The film’s shoot spanned 200 days in remote areas, and while a tragic incident occurred with the drowning of a junior artiste and a bus accident injuring six, Shetty dismissed these as disruptions rather than major problems. He noted that the film’s minimal promotional approach led to the spread of these rumors. Kantara: Chapter 1 has earned INR 386.9 crore net in India.
