Sofia Marathon 2025 shuts down city center this weekend

This weekend, October 11 and 12, Sofia’s city center will be closed to cars for the Sofia Marathon. Several public transport routes will also be changed. Details are available on the Center for Urban Mobility website.

Restrictions on parking and staying in the center start Friday, October 10.

The marathon will feature 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km routes.

Over 8,000 participants from 66 countries have signed up for the event.
