Teachers for ED leaders trained in business management for school development
Teachers for ED leaders are receiving training in business management to improve school development and contribute to the national economy. As education evolves, it’s crucial to equip teachers with entrepreneurial skills to boost school-based businesses and promote sustainable development.
Officials from the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ), the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC), and the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) provided guidance on proper business procedures. This comes as some schools face scrutiny for not following procurement rules and misusing funds.
Participants acknowledged the gaps in their business practices and expressed appreciation for the training, believing it will lead to more effective and transparent school businesses. The initiative aims to strengthen the education system through better business management and national empowerment.
