Soipan Tuya wears school uniform to mark Mazingira Day
Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya marked this year’s Mazingira Day by revisiting her alma mater, Ole Ntutu Arid Zone Comprehensive School, in a school uniform. Tuya shared photos on her official X platform, where she was seen wearing a light blue dress with a matching collar and grey sweater, mirroring the current students’ attire. She engaged warmly with the pupils, symbolizing her connection to the school.
During the event, Tuya participated in a tree-planting activity alongside local leaders and community members, emphasizing the importance of reforestation and environmental conservation. The occasion reflected a similar gesture by Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa, who also wore a school uniform while marking a community event at Daraja Mungu Primary School in Kakamega.
