A new Myanmar drama series adapted from a popular novel will premiere on Channel 7 and the For You Cinema application starting on Monday, with episodes airing weeknights at 6 p.m. Academy Award-winning performer Aye Chan Maung revealed that the production team worked to preserve the essence of La Min Mo Mo’s original literary work while making it accessible to television audiences.

Director Pwint Theingi Zaw helmed the project using a screenplay by Ingyin Han. The cast features several acclaimed actors, including Aye Chan Maung, Chue Lay, Yun Yun and May Than Nu. Aye Chan Maung noted that adapting the successful novel required careful attention to maintain its appeal while translating the story to screen format.
