‘Thitsa Phyint Tha Siyin Zay’ series debuts on Mahar Channel
Director Academy Min Oo presented the television drama Thitsa Phyint Tha Siyin Zay at a promotional event held at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon Region’s Yankin Township. The filmmaker described a production setback when digital footage from an entire shooting session was lost, requiring the cast and crew to repeat their work. Academy Min Oo characterized the program as a family-focused narrative exploring themes of loyalty and faithfulness alongside romantic elements.
The 25-episode series features performers including Aye Chan Maung, Nyi Nanda, Nay Htut, Lin Zarni Zaw, Su Pan Htwa, Phoo Sone, and guest participant Academy Myint Myint Khine, among others. Shin Ma authored the original story while Ka Kyoe Shin adapted the screenplay for the production. The program started broadcasting through the Mahar Application and the Mahar Channel, with episodes airing each weekday evening.
