Turkey reopens airspace to Sulaimani flights

Flights from Turkey to Sulaimani International Airport started again on Wednesday after being stopped for a while. The Turkish Civil Aviation Directorate lifted the ban on flights and announced that Sulaimani’s airport could now fly to Turkey. The airport told people to check for updated flight times to Turkey, Europe, and other places. The decision came after Turkey’s leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, agreed to lift the flight stop on October 9, following a request from Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani.
