UIU hosts successful Entrepreneurship Project Show

United International University business students showcased startup concepts at a campus showcase on Saturday, highlighting their work on sustainable enterprises. The event featured 20 teams presenting business plans, prototypes and marketing materials developed through an entrepreneurship course at the School of Business and Economics.

Iqbal Bahar Zahid from Optimax Communication served as the chief guest while university officials recognized top performers with awards. About 100 undergraduates participated in the competition that required aligning projects with global development objectives. Faculty designed the program to build practical business skills among future commercial leaders.

Vice Chancellor Abul Kashem Mia led ceremonies honoring participants who created comprehensive proposals over the academic term. The curriculum component asks students to develop complete ventures from initial concepts through detailed operational strategies. Professors Nasrin Akter and Jakowan supervised teams that prepared websites and advertising campaigns for their proposed companies.
