Vetrimaaran backs Ken Karunaas debut film

Director Vetrimaaran directed the opening shot for actor Ken Karunaas’s first film as a director on Thursday. Actor Karthi operated the clapperboard for the project, which remains untitled. Ken Karunaas will serve as both director and lead actor in the production. He previously appeared in Asuran and Viduthalai 2.

Paarvatha Entertainment posted a photograph showing Ken embracing Vetrimaaran after filming began. The production company called the moment significant for their first project. Several Tamil cinema figures attended the launch event at the studio. Vishal, R.J. Balaji, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Dr. Isari K. Ganesh, and Arun were among those present.

The cast features Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu alongside Anisma Anil Kumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Priyanshi Yadav and Devadarshini. Vicky handles cinematography while G.V. Prakash Kumar composes music. Nash will edit the film and Ramu Thangaraj manages art direction. Kavya Sriram designs costumes for the school-based story.
