VP CP Radhakrishnan, Brazil’s Alckmin discuss energy, AI ties in New Delhi
Vice President CP Radhakrishnan met with Brazil’s Vice President Geraldo Alckmin in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss enhancing cooperation in energy, pharmaceuticals, defence, research, connectivity, and emerging fields like AI and digitization. Both leaders expressed optimism about strengthening trade and economic ties.
Earlier, Alckmin also met Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, where they reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening cooperation in sectors like energy, healthcare, agriculture, and technology. Alckmin’s visit to India includes meetings with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to focus on military cooperation and defence industry collaboration.
Alckmin is also expected to meet External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri during his visit to discuss further areas of mutual interest.
