Xbox Magnus to outmuscle PS6 in 2027 specs war
The PlayStation 6 and Xbox Magnus specs have reportedly been finalized, with Microsoft’s console expected to outperform Sony’s across all games. The leak comes from KeplerL2, a trusted AMD insider, who confirms earlier claims shared by YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead.
According to the leak, Xbox Magnus will feature more CPU cores, higher clock speeds, more compute units, more ROPs, higher GPU frequency, and greater cache and memory bandwidth. PlayStation 6 will still offer strong AI capabilities, reaching around 1,200 TOPs, up from the PS5 Pro’s 300.
RAM capacities are expected to be 36GB for Xbox Magnus, 30GB for PS6, and 24GB for Sony’s handheld. Sony is also the only one planning two separate systems. Both consoles target a 2027 launch.
